I know that applying seems intimidating but don’t get scared!
I’ve gathered all the information you need from our main website www.bergen.org that you need to apply to our program.

But the big question I’m always asked is about our portfolio.
I figured I’d post it here on our site to make things easier for those with questions.

Commercial Art Portfolio Requirements
All work is to be submitted by the application deadline and applicants must submit a link to their portfolio (google drive folder/pdf file/ppt presentation) at comartportfolio@bergen.org. No postal mail-in portfolio’s will be accepted. Please make sure the images are of good quality to showcase student artwork.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the portfolio, please email THSAdmissions@bergen.org.
Artwork should include:
4 – Drawings from observation (still life, landscape, portraits etc.)
4 – Drawings from imagination (fantasy)
4 – Drawings from memory (dream, experience)
1 – Self Portrait
Please note: Several media are expected to illustrate your variety of skill.
An example of acceptable media would be: pencil, pen & ink, charcoal.
pastel, acrylic, oil pastel or conte crayon.
Use of crayons (ie: crayola) is not appropriate for this portfolio submission. All artwork should be the applicant’s ORIGINAL work and not reproductions of other’s work.
